Those days sucked! You couldn't appreciate all of the good news because there was so much stuff happening at once. Even great announcements were drowned out by bug disappointments.

These little Directs that you enter with low to moderate expectations with a low to high return rate about every five weeks are much more digestible and more rewarding, even if it means that your 90 minute E3 gets cut in half.

The bolded stuff is exactly what I was thinking. I didn't read through all the posts, but Monolith Soft's Soraya Saga retweeted the Nintendo Direct information from Japan. This is the 3rd time this has happened. The first two times were January 23rd, 2013 and E3 2013. Or, in other words, the two other times she retweeted, we got "X" trailers from Monolith Soft. Here's hoping for trailer number 3, OR at least a title or release window or something. Also, Platinum retweeted about it...maybe Beeyonetta (:p) 2 related? Or maybe they have a Bayonetta 1 port for Wii U that could release between DK and Mario Kart, and then save Bayonetta 2 for the 2nd half of the year? Who knows...but given that it's been more than 7 months since E3, it's really ABOUT TIME for some new info on "X" and Bayonetta 2. It's also possible/likely that "X" could wind up releasing in Japan first...so even if it's not in our Direct because it's not a "Spring" title, we may at least get footage in the Japanese one if it's releasing sooner there.

lol! You kno wat pisses me off the most? SSB fans! Thank god nobody from here but on miiverse+neogaf people b**** 24/7. 

SSB is my favorite franchise of all time. Sakarai gives us 1 pic a day, 5 days a week on the game. People cry cry cry when we get a pic on a random ting that doesn't show anything new. Calling Sakarai idiot/doesnt kno wat he is doing/what kind of update is this/etc. Im like WTF? this is the only franchise that gives us daily images. If this didn't happen we get a trailer/news of the game once in a blue. Look at MK8 For example!

I feel bad that my favorite franchise has some of the most idiotic fanbase! but wat can you do -_-

Anyway, im glad nintendo gives us directs! Just wish some people (not talking about anybody here, just in general) stop complaining!

I actually agree with you but if I would much rather have a Direct every 2 months that has one bombshell, a few mid-level announcments, and some small stuff then a bunch of directs that only ahve a little bit of content in each.    E3 used to be the bomb by the way.  It was like the Super Bowl of gaming.  When it was on TV I would plop my ass of the couch kick back and just soak it all in.  Now....it's pretty lame for the most part.  Sony and Microsoft make you sit through an hour of crap to get to the good stuff and Nintendo has pretty much just let it go.

People are just spoiled losers.  Sakarai does something that no other game developer in the world does, and I don't think ever has.   He dishes out a new screenshot every single day, and sometimes a video.  WTF else do people want.    Smash Bros has been my favorite video game for over a decade, but the whining from other Smash Bros fans really can be obnoxious.    They talk so much shit about Sakarai and all I can think is "Without him you don't get Smash Bros, so please in the words of Chris Jericho will you please SHUT THE HELL UP."   

That would be awesome if get a new trailer for X and some actual details on the game. It seems there has been retweets from Monolith Soft, Platinum Games and Next Level Games so info on X and Bayonetta 2 should be a given and maybe Next Level is working on Luigi's Mansion HD. We shall find out tomorrow!!!!!!

7am in Japan... The question is whether it will be worth it to get up early or not. :/
