Official - Nintendo Direct February 13 - Focusing on WiiU and 3DS games in Spring

Start off with a new trailer and some details for Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, one last time to show off the game before it releases.

After that they will announce Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon HD to be released sometime in between DKC and Mario Kart. This game was rumored awhile back and Iwata even said Year of Luigi would continue into 2014. This game will release just about a year after after the original release and will conclude Year of Luigi.

With the end of Luigi begins the Year of Yoshi. They will show a trailer for Yoshi's New Island and reveal a special edition 3DS to release alongside it. Also they will have a trailer for Yarn Yoshi and confirm it will release sometime this year. Also he will be officially announced for Smash Bros.

Next up will be trailers, new info and release dates for the games releasing by E3. Im guessing Kirby Triple Deluxe+Mario Golf: World Tour for 3DS and Mario Kart+Bayonetta 2 or Hyrule Warriors for Wii U.

Maybe another surprise or two but nothing major.

The bolded stuff is exactly what I was thinking. I didn't read through all the posts, but Monolith Soft's Soraya Saga retweeted the Nintendo Direct information from Japan. This is the 3rd time this has happened. The first two times were January 23rd, 2013 and E3 2013. Or, in other words, the two other times she retweeted, we got "X" trailers from Monolith Soft. Here's hoping for trailer number 3, OR at least a title or release window or something. Also, Platinum retweeted about it...maybe Beeyonetta (:p) 2 related? Or maybe they have a Bayonetta 1 port for Wii U that could release between DK and Mario Kart, and then save Bayonetta 2 for the 2nd half of the year? Who knows...but given that it's been more than 7 months since E3, it's really ABOUT TIME for some new info on "X" and Bayonetta 2. It's also possible/likely that "X" could wind up releasing in Japan first...so even if it's not in our Direct because it's not a "Spring" title, we may at least get footage in the Japanese one if it's releasing sooner there.

That would be awesome if get a new trailer for X and some actual details on the game. It seems there has been retweets from Monolith Soft, Platinum Games and Next Level Games so info on X and Bayonetta 2 should be a given and maybe Next Level is working on Luigi's Mansion HD. We shall find out tomorrow!!!!!!
