Can only embark on your own Titan unless I am just not seeing how to get into anyone else's. You can however hitch a ride on anyones Titan.

I have played hours so far and only once noticed a tiny tiny hitch in the game for a split second and it was right after I entered a Titan and gained control of it and it was off in a corner of the map with no one around. Which is weird because you'd think it would be slowing down more in the middle of huge firefights with 4-5 Titans dashing around and Grunts everywhere but no.


Maybe that was one of those 'on-the-fly' server updates we have heard about.

1. I was originaly worried about 6 vs 6. Now I cant imagine a higher player count. You encounter pilots constantly and pilots are POWERFUL. Pilot vs pilot battles are fast and lethal.

2. Titan AI in follow mode is pretty awesome. Its like having a massive metal guard dog following you around gunning down enemies. Theyll stick close to you and dont get lost.

3. Maps are incredibly balanced. Tons of opportunities for Titans or pilots to get the upper hand.

4. There are a TON of grunts on each team. Which is awesome. You can gain some serious momentum killing them and they make facing other pilots super epic. You're used to gunning down a bunch of grunts and suddenly you see a rival pilot show up and you know your about to have a fight for your life.

This game is the real deal. The hype is justified. I cant recommend it enough im honestly blown away.


OK now you're just pissin me off because you're playing and I'm not.  LOL.  One question:

  How is the lag?  In Ghosts, despite having a good <30ms ping and 30Mb connection, I have inconsisitent play experience.  Getting insta killed, rubber banded around corners, etc. in one match, great in the next... Can you make a comparison?

Lol, I think everyone just wants to PLAY it.  If talking about VGs was as fun as playing them I'd save a ton of money yearly! :)

1. Depends how your trying to kill a pilot. Some guns and weapons are rapid kills some take about Halo time

2. No you cant hijack a Titan

3. Grunts are stupid but its on purpose. Sounds weird but makes sense when you play

4. The action is constant. Zero slow down unless your purposefully avoiding the fight.

5. Level up around same speed as COD

6. About 3 or 4 option for gun customization in Beta

7. Your abilities are more like COD perks

I'm having lots of technical issues.

Changing quality settings doesn't fix it either. Anyone else having similar issues? They do make for great gifs at least lol.

I've been playing the Beta today and stopped after about 30 minutes because I was bored.  This game hasn't shown me anything new at all gameplay-wise.  And even with the a/v settings maxed out it really, really, looks and sounds dated.  If you're desperate for a new FPS IP, give it a shot.  But it's not worth getting hyped about, in my opinion.
