Forums - Nintendo - Is this the order of releases for WiiU in 2014?

I didn't intend to say that they were REVEALING GAMES, just REVEALING LAUNCH ORDER.

"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

I don´t think that Hyrule Warriros will come out after super smash

Nothing we didn't know already. Hope they announce some new games to be released later this year on the next direct, otherwise there's gonna be months I don't turn on my Wii U, just like last year.

Here's being optimistic
DKC -- same release as we've always known
Mario Kart -- Early May
Watch Dogs -- Late May/Early June
Bayonetta -- June/July
Smash -- August/September
Hyrule Warriors -- October/November
X -- November/December

Super Mario 3D world was planned on December last year, but they managed to bump it to November. Let's hope they can do the same.

In other news -- Watch Dogs Wii U is not cancelled.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

I really doubt that`s the order. Can`t see Smash not releasing last.
Unless there`s a big holiday title coming.

Don`t that list being complete, with Sonic missing and other surprises too. My guess is just some promo that will be corrected after E3.

Reminds me a lot of N64 days. While you own one it is agonizing to wait for each release, then in retrospect see many quality titles with almost all from Nintendo.

I for one wholly expect to see Yarn Yoshi release this year...

From the official twitter account of nintendo France:

With the now confirmed delay on Wacth dogs, it seems safe to say that maybe this is the order where they are come out, and seems to make sense, with bayonetta on june/august, SMB in September, Hyrule Warrior on octuber and X ond november. What do you think?

Sorry for calling you out for this but SMB =/= Super Smash Bros. I don't know why some people (not just you) still think there is a M or Mario in the title when we already have three games for the series.

If SMB meant something else or it was an honest typo then nevermind and sorry for the mini rant.

Always about nintendo where is ps4 or xbox list if they have one

Those titles have all been confirmed for release in 2014 by Nintendo so I don't know why anyone is questioning that. The release schedule seems likely, but nothing is confirmed by this picture - including actual dates - so this really tells us nothing.

It is a nice promotional image, however, and emphasizes the great content coming this year. If they could get their act together and get another couple titles committed to the system it would look great. an average of nearly 1 AAA title a month is outstanding. Nintendo should make sure there is a COD2014 icon there when it's announced (unlike last year when Activision wouldn't even admit it was being made for months) and find at least one more solid title. X also needs a name, it's ridiculous how long that is taking. Surely the theme of the game is well established by now. An X-New Casual Title combo for December would look very nice following up Smash and Hyrule.
