Played the demo on Wii some years back. Nice game, but not something I'm ready to invest money in. I like Shin'en's ambition, vigor and mastery of the hardware, but I'm still waiting for a game that I actually want to buy.

All Shin'en games are 60 FPS... So 1080P 60FPS FTW! |
Shin'en have confirmed that their Wii U games will use 4k-8k texures from now on as well, so if the final game matches the resolution of these screens, the game will be:
1080p @ 60fps, with 240fps physics processing and 4k-8k textures

It already did that trying to run 360 games. OT: Looks quite nice! |

So is this a puzzle game or a let's mess with physics game? Or both? Somewhat intrigued if the price is right.

pretty sure its one of the games where you get a bunch of strangely shaped blocks and you need to figure out how to stack them without the tower tipping over...so a bit of both.
The demo I played on Wii was pretty fun but I never got around to buying it...maybe I'll pick up this version if its priced well

It looks great... It looks awsome and this is early footage of Wii U version.
They added notable features to it and I don't understand people saying that they won't buy it just because they already own it yet this version will have multiplayer with up to 10 players in one match via two Wii U's. That is mind blowing! Also physics will be a lot better which means better accuracy which in turn can make this game a bit easier/more playable than previously.
I am stunned that Wii U alone will get 20 games this quarter in total with majority of them being indies.
next-gen enough to me
now give me moar realisticsz gamez

It's both; you have to stack a series of oddly shaped blocks over a bowl of water and keep them from falling over. They had other elements as it goes along like destructible blocks and such.
