The Wii U is at nearly 1.2 million in Japan right now and will be over that by the time the PS4 launches, so as funny (or sad?) as that would be, it's definitely going to take awhile before it can surpass.

I know a lot of people are actually thinking it could go as high as selling out a 500k shipment first week, but personally I see more 280k-ish.


fact:  ps4 will not launch worse than the wiiU.

My range is 260 - 340k :P

Wii U did 300k and PS2 did 980k. PS4 doing what your expecting it to will end up being a flop..or major shipment issues.

Sony is still more doomed than Nintendo.

No, Wii U just had a good launch is all. Far better than it deserved.

Thankfully, the wheels fell out from under it soon after.
