Windows, my Nokia Lumia 920 is the best phone I've ever used. Huge upgrade from iPhone. Haven't had a chance to try an Android phone yet, I probably will once my next upgrade comes. I really want to get an Xperia Z1.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

The windows phone interfarce is pretty clean, ergonomic and easy for the eyes I agree.Android and ios shouls follow it's example. What puts me off windows phones so far is the limited app store and that none of the available devices has won me over so far specs wise.

Interesting to hear from a developer's point of view.So in general is it easier to build from scratch an ios game than android? How hard is to port from one os to another?

the devices use different languages (obj-c for ios and java/xml for android). from my experience the port is done all over from scratch. essentially recoded but using mostly the same algorithms and images.  For building from scratch that more or less depends which language you prefer.  The android sdk/eclipse is not a pleasure to learn but once you do (like anything) it's not bad.  The compatibility issues are kind of a bother since android has little uniformity.  So many devices made by so many manufactures with varied features.  Apple's is easy from the start and there's total conformity.  The tools are really fancy, incredibly slick.  It was, like all apple software, designed to be simple as could be.

Android is the most open. So I like it the most.
Also a side note to the. You don't need to put poll in side on every thread you make. Every thread with a poll says poll before the title.

I hate them all equally. I have an Android phone though, makes sense to support the one with the least closed philosophy and design since I despise hermetic developer environments.

I like iOS the best even though I have an Android phone (mainly because I don't like Apple's smaller screen size for phones and the expense in jumping in storage sizes).

I feel like it's the most clean interface. I also think Apple still has the best store ... there are quite a few games for example on iOS that aren't available on Android.

iOS!!! Get at me, tech nerds.

Thanks for the reply. It must be pretty hard for sure to make a game run for all these different devices in android.I wonder if smartphone companies exert pressure to videogame developers to take advantage of  a certain device strengths or weaknesses. In general if there is background talk between them in android and what measures does apple take to bring exclusives to their os.

Windows 8 phone. All the apps I need are there(C&H, Sickipedia, Barclays) and it links seamlessly to my Office365 account. Maybe it's because I don't use social media for anything and all of the complaints about apps seem to be about stuff to do with that. When my contract is up for renewal in a few months I won't even bother looking beyond Nokia.
