No, what should scare you is

- Purchases of the same game on virtual console are not shared across from 3ds or to 3ds even if they're both linked to the same Nintendo ID
- Installing games or updating games takes a lifetime
- There's very little worth actually buying
- WiiTV is just a glorified TV guide
- Default battery in tablet sucks
- Unless you have wooden walls don't expect to get more than a room away without losing connection to the base console
- Only launch game worth your money is zombiu
- Bundled box weighs more than a ps3 fat boxed did
- wires, wires fucking everywhere.
- For some inexplicable reason all Japanese consoles released after the GameCube do not allow system language go be changed
- region locked, screw you Nintendo.

Once more... Nintendo has not talked about the sucessor to the Wii U. They talked about new quality of life systems. Different market, the Wii U is still here to stay.

Also for you guys with a Wii U can I play a Wii/Virtual Console game on the gamepad without using a tv?

They are talking more in terms of a unified OS or Architecture for all their family of products. He gave the Wii U sucesser as an example of how this would work. But, its not the imediate plan to come out with it anytime soon.

Which is talking about the successer............ We did not know hardly anything (that was not leaked) about the PS4 and Xbox One until they were officially announced.

But I am still getting a Wii U soon, as I (and you guys) believe the successor is atleast 3 years away and that is long enough for me to warrant a 300$ purchase
