Ya thats 30k gap between WiiU and X1 is going to make taking 2nd longer then thought.

So yes, WiiU sales aren't that bad

If Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros 4 don't  boost  Wii U's sales  significantly then I will go cry in a corner.

The monthly fee will make up for the lack of sales, so Nintendo needs to sell them consoles more than ms and sony to make a profit

It's selling half what Gamecube did, i would define that as doomed.

I was planning to say that the Wii U is not "doomed" unless Smash Bros and Mario Kart fail to provide a long-term boost.  I know it's a long time off but Jaunary 2015 numbers are going to be very important.

Well let's see. It sells less ww than a 7 year old console. It also sells less than the X1 in europe.

Europeans seem to spend less, so when the price drops, the units will start flowing off the shelfs.  Also once Titanfall and some games release pushing people to think that the $500 is worth it, they will come out and play. Seems $500 is not a good price point. Xbox should have known.

Well at least the kittens will be safe. 

OT: WiiU is the cheapest next gen console with the strongest lineup of games. Yeah it's pretty bad. Selling 30k less than a console that's nearly twice as expensive is embarassing. Donkey Kong will do very little, so the WiiU is stuck until Mario Kart. XBO's not doing too well either. MS vastly overestimated demand in the US and chose to only launch in 13 countries, now they're paying the price. EU numbers are pitiful. They need to launch in more countries ASAP. 

Seems like doom sales to me.
