Do you guys have any idea/prediction about when will Nintendo do a new Direct? It's been almost 2 months since the last one, and they were pretty much monthly as of late.... so many of us are eagerly expecting a new Direct soon.

With all this new strategy shifting and new business approach plans that Nintendo is aiming for, the next Direct could be a very interesting one.
I surely wish that the next Direct blows our minds, which Nintwendo really needs to do right now... solid release dates for the upcoming WiiU games for this year (MK8, X, Bayonetta2, SmashBros, etc.), new IP announcements, new partnerships revealed, and so on....

So... when??? should we expect a new Nintendo Direct this upcoming days?

Maybe next Wed. It's the day before DKC: TF launches in Japan, maybe they'll use an ND to hype it up.

30th of February  Leaving jokes aside, the next ND will most likely happen before the launch of TF in Japan. That's a given to be honest.

Hopefully soon, I love Directs.

They cannot announce games as fast as anyone would like.

Substantial updates on a game's development can't be more than every 6 months to a year without putting the team in a constant state of promotional material generation.

Major new first-party titles were basically reserved to E3 in previous years. If you spread that over a whole year of Directs, it's unlikely any individual Direct will even have one, let alone a huge blowout of anticipated new games.

We have release months for Mario Kart and Smash Bros. You won't get more detailed than that.

There will definitely be one before this year's E3, so don't worry about that. Even more specifically, it'll most likely happen (at least a month/couple weeks) before Mario Kart 8 considering they have to get the official release dates out there.

I wouldn't expect one next week, more like end of February or beginning/mid March.

You are right with what you say.
The thing is, last year we got Nintendo Directs practically one per month over the second half of the year... that's why it is now such a long wait since the last one (almost 2 months now).
But maybe what you say will be what happens and we won't get another Direct for the next few months... I really hope that doesn't happen though :(
