LOL Sony talking about the decline of others is really funny when they are on the verge of closing half of they bussineses.
Anyway. Theres no decline for Nintendo. Is a decline from Wii popularity nothing else. Nintendo is actually stronger than ever was.

Sure it is, especially after reporting a loss in its quarterly report.

Also I'm surprised by your reaction. . Sony is showing concern about Nintendo and the effect that it would have on the gaming industry. You also forget that Sony Computer Entertainment (the company which runs the PlayStation brand) is not on the 'decline'. Have you not seen the recent PS3/PS4 sales?

The guy of Sony WHICH IS COMPETENCE OF NINTENDO not friends, this is just PR to install "Nintendo is in decline" mindset into people. mental control, brainwashing to a degree.

Nintendo is NOT in decline. WiiU is a failed product. Thats it, they will move on and be successful again with ease.

The handheld market has declined and that was/is Nintendo's biggest market so if the market is declining, so is Nintendo. The Wii U being a failure doesn't make that any better.

has declined to levels of year 2000?

are you one of those who believe perpetual growth is possible??

LOL. I think Sony is in more decline as of today than Nintendo is.

@bold. Yes.

I don't remember Nintendo saying things like this when Sony was in the red.

Maybe Nintendo didn't see Sony's exit from the market as detrimental :P

Nintendo failed with the Wii and Wiiu, I look forward to their next console

Wii? F**k no. Wii U? F**k yes.

To the OP: Sony has already said something similar to this.

In my opinion the Wii was the absolute low point for Nintendo. Financially it was not a failure obviously but quality wise it absolutely was. I do not think the Wii U is a failure as a console though, Nintendo just has not managed it properly

You can continue to believe this if you please, but I'm of the opinion that Nintendo and Nintendo's output of games are much better served by focusing on financial success.

Nintendo is a class act in itself, personified in one of the most humble and kind guys ever, Iwata-san.

Last time i checked Sony is still in red.

It'll be bad for the industry because Sony won't know what to do without a product to copy!
trololol

Of course, Sony and Microsoft need Nintendo to get kids into gaming that will pick up a Playstation or a Xbox when they "grow up"...

No, I don't believe in perpetual growth. There is always a limit/peak with everything. If there was no decline, then surely the handheld market wouldn't have suffered. Have you not noticed that the smartphone market has eaten in to the handheld market or are you dumb enough not to see that? I thought better of you but turns out you're a Sony hater. I'm sorry that the PS4 sales hurt you soo much but you know what:

PS3, PS4, PSV, Wii U, 3DS + 3DS XL Owner.

This isnt from Sony CEO, its from their PlayStation UK department, and in that specific department, they are annihilating Nintendo on every level
