Capcom may have games selling well, but it's not generating much of a profit. Capcom only has $152 million US dollars in the bank. This is why they've resorted to shady DLC tactics, they need all the money they can get.

Konami doesn't have much going for it to be honest, so the outcome isn't a big surprise and they killed Mario Party.
