@mutantsushi, I'm aware of that... It was a joke because of the driveless Xbone them PS4 would go opposite, since Sony have been doing most of things the opposite of what MS have done.

Ah, OK... Well, on that note, Sony should soon be releasing 50% more fake leaks than MS...

I see what you did there... with 60 fps (fakes per saturday)??? But then GAF would need a "Moderator" to bash Sony.

Expect a counter attack from Sony

A PS4 with 2 drives so you can play PS4 and PS3 games at the same time.

I dexcepect a ps4 price cut if xbox one got a price cut.

Not gonna happen. ms can throw sh*ttons of money down the drain, Sony can't. My guess is late 2015 if 20nm is ready by then.

What company throws money down the drain? These is business, not kindergarten.

The whole point is to make the xbox division profitable overall, not throw money down the drain. Imagine explaining that shit to shareholders.

On topic: This can be very negative to Xbone sales if true. I will await confirmation.

Wow so many forget that Sony dropped $100 per year each year the first 3 years of PS3 life. There is only one console manufacturers that has the finances for a price war and that is not Sony.

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

This reeks of desperation.

Maybe Microsoft aren't as "happy with second" as some members of this site would lead you to believe.

If this is true, I can't imagine their shareholders being too happy with the gaming division eating away at more of those monopoly windows profits.

Yes, I can totally see the CEO of Microsoft on the shareholder meeting saying "Yes we cut price to beat Sony because we were butthurt that customer didn't accept our initial vision and price".

Given Sony's level of preparation, it would be interesting if they managed to drive costs down (somehow) and responded with a price cut to keep their edge going.

Either way, a cut would be good for MS and gamers who are interested in the system. I hear guys on my job talk about it, but they are not willing to pay the extra 100 given the PS4's price (perception).

This talk is so damaging to sales.

exactly what I was thinking.  However, the longer these rumors persists, the faster the price cut will happen... which kind of makes me excited a little bit... so I think these rumors should keep going

Like they never cutted price, right?
