Face palm gif for EA.

But the real reason was M$.

so not a face palm gif for EA then..?

btw there is a GT thread thats been up for over 2 hours and you havent been in it yet... I was worried about you.

took yourself 12 minutes to come into this thread. i don't know what this means. i guess you know it.

must-have-list for platforms i don't own yet:

WiiU: Donkey Kong

XBone: Dead Rising 3, Ryse

Around the Network

I think that it was a combination of overestimating the Xbox One compared to the PS4 and receiving some sort of financial incentive.

This is the Game of Thrones

Where you either win

or you DIE

I saw the thread... the price dropped after the holidays like GT5 did... the difference was GT5 sold over 5 million before that and GT6 just 2 million.

Not sure what is the point of this thread. We know Microsoft paid for it, it is a business deal and I do not see why people are trying to dig out anything else about it lol

I understand that a lot of people are frustrated about it not being on their platform of choice but trying to point out to the internet gamers (because other than that nobody cares) that EA supposedly made a dumb decision is really pointless (and certainly not true; both MS/EA are very happy with this deal I think).

I said it before and I will say it again.

"Let's cut the BS.......MS paid for it. Simple."

Don't forget that MS was willing to force DRM ia the Azure cloud on gamers for EA so EA laid back and dropped the online pass thinking they could force it upon people and succeed like they did Xbox Live Gold. Didn't work this time. The payment part is only natural for MS.

Other than pure speculation/conspiration theory from the wonderfull internet community, do you have an official proof of that?

It happens. Contracts were probably signed well before the DRM fiasco and resolutiongate. EA had no-way of knowing this would happen and projections would have been very different at the time. I think the same thing happened with Sonic Lost World. The project probably started before the WiiU was released and they were expecting a userbase of double or triple the actual numbers. Ubisoft probably thought the VITA would be stronger when they began production of AC Liberation. Live and learn I guess. You place bets before a race starts and you have to accept you will lose sometimes.

Thats not speculation. DRM was pulled back because of the internet and media backlash. The primary paywall system of the azure cloud was stripped down before the Xbox One was shipped. MS knew they had tried gamers patience. EA stepped back and acted like  they weren't even apart of it after Sony called out Microsoft at E3. Luckily for us they kept the online pass away. Its not that EA bet on the wrong horse, they had planned a lot of crap and it didn't quite go as expected. Better for us as gamers away. I can pick up my Xbone now in peace.

Bullshit. EA doesn't just "go exclusive" based on userbase. If that was the case, Army of Two, Burnout Paradise, Dante's Inferno, etc. would have gone exclusive to 360 since the 360s userbase was much bigger and would "offset potential sales the games could have had if released on PlayStation".

Why don't they just man up and say MS paid them. Rockstar did when the 360 got GTAIV DLC. But, then again, that's a bad precedent to compare to, since that $50M DLC ended up on PS3 anyway....and EA multiplats everything. MS must have spent a LOT of money to *truly* keep this game exclusive. Hrmm....

AC Liberation is multiplatform now.....

For those that are cocksure that TF will remain exclusive, AC Liberation is not a good example to go by
