Enjoyed my time with this game. The world they created was pretty impressive, especially in the opening few hours.

Sad news.

They are a talented studio and I enjoyed playing the game. The style was so French, it was nice to see in the sea of US military shooters. Some of the story lacked and replayability wasn't really there but I'd give it a solid 8/10, my 2nd ever platinum (because it was easy).

I was hoping for something good from their next game.

That's what they get for skipping the Wii U.

I hope the game remains on Steam... I wanted to pick it up when I upgrade my laptop.

What does Mario have to do with it? oh well....

Anyway... the trend continues... another proof that developers must stop with the AAA paradigm once and for all.

It is really sad for the developers... I didn't like the previews of the game though so I think I will pass on the game.

I know of no one that fits this description or has had the experience of playing only Mario for 25 years. Or even publishers ditching new game creators unless their game is crap and doesn't sell.

If you did, was there any "wow" moments in that sequel or was it as dull as you are describing.

No one is being brain washed. I don't think reviewers have as much impact as you say. They could have praised this game day and night and it probably would have sold the same.
