@bold. Exactly the opposite. They will only have to make 1 version of each game, the API takes care of making it crossplatform (like Unity).

Oh didn't know that, even so I'd say making a powerhouse console on par with PS5/X2 would be a better option.  Have the portable with the console gimmick if they really want, but let it be OPTIONAL and not take away resources from the console like the tablet did with the Wii U.

Because building a console with only first party development in mind is suicide.  Nintendo is not capable of supplying a game liabrary to rival the competition on their own.

Whatever Nintendo does they are against it and its always the wrong way. No matter what some people cannot put their hate for Nintendo aside.

 

Now had this been a Sony announcement it would have been exactly what was needed and would justify blind loyalty to them. You will learn in time that some members cannot be reasoned with. They simply see the name Nintendo and hate it. Even when you proved him wrong, he simply changed his stance so he could continue to say what they were doing was wrong.

Nintendo is not competing with Sony and MS at the moment.

Ofc they are competing against each other, just because Nintendo is focusing their advertising towards kids doesn't mean they are not competing with Sony and MS.  All consoles are competing against each other.

lol ofc play the owners card so it justifies your stance. typical response and no you are not just being negative. You are hating on everything being said by them and even when you are wrong you simply change your stance to keep on hating but keep think its just me picking on you while your post history shows a clear hate for anything Nintendo.

I wouldn't so far to say that Nintendo will win the ninth generation, but I'm very happy with what I'm hearing from the meeting. It's good to see Nintendo pursue sounder business practices, evolve, and generally think on its feet again.

So, technicaly, I don't need WiiU if I have 3ds or vice versa? So instead of selling 2 consoles, they will sell only one. How's that profitable? Or it's thier sneaky way to run away from home console market? And if you have same games, you need two systems that are near equal in power. iOS games doesn't have diff specs on one phone or pad, they just lags and stutter if your Apple device is old. So they must create games in diff specs for them to use systems to full potential.
