The Elder Scrolls Online MMO for the PS4, will not require a PS Plus subscription to play. The user just needs to pay the $14.99 a month fee to Bethesda. However, Xbox One users have to have an active Xbox Live Gold Membership to play the game, in addition to paying the monthly fees for the MMO. Get the pricing structure below.

Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold Required – $59.99

$14.99/€12.99 / £8.99 – Monthly = $239.87/Yearly 

Basic math tells me users who want to play The Elder Scrolls Online will have to pay a yearly fee of over $239.87 on Xbox One.

Well every single PS4 owner is gonna have PS+ anyway (I hear they give away free games) so is this a big deal?

this is why i wont play mmo's with monthly fees. We can talk all the shit about paying for PSN and XBL but to me that isnt anything compared to paying for one game monthly.

I wouldn't play this even if it was free. The response to the beta has been absolutely awful.

And if you don't have PS+... What's wrong with you? I got a year free with my PS3 purchase last year, but I'd be stupid not to continue it.... the thing shits out free games that far exceeds than cover the cost of the service.

That's rough, but the people who would play MMO's would probably already be paying for a live subscription anyways. Elder Scrolls Online is a tough sell too... So damn expensive....
