No cross-play? That's ridiculous for an MMO.
Smart move by Sony to drop PS+ requirements. Players are already going to be paying a monthly charge to access the servers.

Sony already promised that at E3, why is there a news everytime a publisher confirms this ?
Otherwise good news, but I hardly see a MMO player on One or 360 not having gold. Still good for the ones that do care about paying two monthly fee.

I'm getting tired of this argument. Let me just guess the percentage of players that play online without PS+..... -2%
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Not enough 14 years old saving the world with the power of friendship, huh? I feel ya, brah.
OT: I'm guessing MS will drop that requirement if enough xbox fans voice their dissapointment with that decision. Either way, that is a good trend that I hope keeps going, online services not being blocked by a paywall (PS+/Xbox Live)

"PS4 players will only be required to pay the same monthly subscription associated with The Elder Scrolls Online that PC and Mac users will pay - nothing more." That being said, it will require an Xbox Live Gold account on Xbox One, Bethesda has verified in an e-mail to Eurogamer. The publisher answered several other questions about the upcoming MMO on the PlayStation Blog. For one, the PS4 version of the game will be played on different servers in North America and Europe, and there won't be cross-platform support for the PS4 version with PC and Mac. The Elder Scrolls Online will launch on PC and Mac on 4th April before coming to PS4 and Xbox One in June. Players can sign up for the beta here, though it's yet to be announced when this will kick off. |
That's sad for X1 players, the monthly 15 bucks are already pretty steep imo.
It's the same way for A Realm Reborn on PS3/PS4. The content blocking by Xbox Live is one of the reasons I will never subscribe to the service.

HUH? You realize only half of xbox users have live gold right? Many players on console do not play online still.

Oh damn.... you were caught trashing a game that is not out yet.

I still am annoyed i have to pay $10 a month if I want to watch the netflix service I pay for on my 360.
