I'm completely baffled by the "this is the future of gaming" guys.
Android/iOS games are and will always be mobile games. Distractions rather than "full" games. "Oh, but what if devs start making Android games specifically for this Amazon device?".
Ok, so you have to convince consumers to spend $300 on a device that will play mobile games on your TV + a few full games when you can instead:
1- Buy a tablet that connects to the TV if you want to play Angry Birds on the TV for some reason and
2- buy a PS4/One/Wii U and have your console games on a... console.
I still can't believe the whole "smartphones/tablets are killing/will kill consoles" claims are still alive.
