This is a hypothetical question so no worries.  Was just reading through the "Sony now has the junk status" and it made me wonder, if someone were to buy the PlayStation brand who would you want it to be?  I would assume PS is actually one of Sony's best brands where as their brands like Bravia TV is killing them.  What this means is that if something were to happen to sony i believe people would be flocking to buy the PS brand. But who would you want?

A few companies that would possibly do it. Ill add to this list as you all mention other companies.  Whatever the company is, id assume they would need a good amount of money considerng PS is prob not cheap.

Microsoft probably. Though without Sony they would have most likely stuck with all the DRM crap so it wouldn't exactly be the best option. But they are both entrenched in console gaming so I don't know.
