Based on the press, gears of war series sold (or shipped) more than 22 millions. Does it mean VGC undertracked them?

They can be a two-team studio but they are working only on Gears first.... the new IP showed at E3 was dropped or delayed or never was a game.
So after reading some of Spencers quotes it looks like Black Tusks new IP was either canceled or was never an actual game.
As excited as I am for a new Gears that is incredibly disappointing there won't be a new IP from them.
Glad to see the Gears of War franchise being continued.. just like Uncharted I love to see more of it on the new consoles

Though I think they can continue on from gears 3. Their is still questions about Adam Fenix and the Queen.
Gears of war with less meat and less gainz (this was just a tech demo, no new IP)

You have misunderstood that announcement.
Whilst there is no definitive evidence that they currently have a second major AAA game in development alongside Gears of War, the link you refer too doesn't in any way preclude it.
They were just pointing out that E3 was a tech demo, in a similar way to the Heavy Rain tech demo that bore no resemblance or relevance to the final game.

They meant it really when they said BlackTusk Studio will make the next Gears of War haha
They could have let them done something unique and new and at the end Microsoft pulled a Microsoft and doesn't take risks.
