So what is different between 4 and 4G?

extra monsters, missions, gear, areas etc. and it keeps all the old content. Stuff like this realistically could be an expansion DLC which is why people get angry

Please don't kill me, but I think Capcom was right to skip Vita. Is the same EA skipping Wii U. I can't see any problem.

anyway, I'm already ready for the Monster Hunter 4U

I'm not sure why they don't ship MH4 to the west. MH fanbase has grown a lot in the west the past few years. Release date should have been announced with Japan release date (6 months - year after Japan release). At least they could just do eshop only like a few other games have tried. That way they would barely get burned if it didn't sell (which won't be the case) and I'm pretty sure they could squeeze at least 1.5-2m from N.A. and Europe.

Well I was hoping for a Wii U announcement as I prefer playing MH on the big screen but I like MH enough that I would buy it for the 3DS if thats all I was given...

Now we just need it to be announced for the west so I know when I will be buying this

Damn, I didn't even get MH4 in the US yet...

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

No, it's not the same at all. Vita has shown that it can sell 3rd party games very well, especially MH type games. EA HAS released plenty of games on WiiU and all of them failed. Capcom hasn't even tried with Vita. Not to mention that they pretty much created the big MH base on playstation so they know there are plenty of Vita owners out there who would buy it.

This isn't a case of getting 100k/200k extra sales like often with WiiU, but rather close to a million or more imo.

Bullshit.  They released ports which they barely put any effort into (NFS being the only one) which were set up to fail to justify them pulling support.

A 6 month development time Madden ( http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2012/11/wii_u_madden_nfl_13_was_built_in_just_six_months ), half assed FIFA, ME3 when they release trilogy for cheaper on PS3/360, NFS (I can't fault Criterion for lack of effort, however it was a late port).

So that is 4 games right?  I don't believe there are any others they released.  2 sports games (which don't sell that well on Nintendo platforms usually) and 2 late ports.  Wow, that is so many games and what effort they gave.  The only game you can say that wasn't set up to completely fail would be NFS which was an old game anyways.

GE2 didn't sell 1 mil. I really don't think MH would.

And MH3U sold 500k only on WIi U

Case closed. Capcom made the right decision.

If thats true then every developer not making games for the wii U are also making the right decision.

And dont forget, the 2 highest selling MH games are on the PSP, the reason why MH got to where it is today.

This isnt true. We have one of the games overtracked by alot. MH4 is the 2nd best selling MH Title as of now. MHP3 will remain number 1 comfortably at 4.8mil (5.3mil including digital) while the other MH on psp MHFU has sold 3.6mil. http://www.capcom.co.jp/ir/english/business/million.html

We already kno MH4 will keep on selling another couple hundred thousands and as of now should of safely crossed that 3.6mil including digital/DL cards!
