Nah, that was not a very smooth run (I made mistakes knowing I was recording myself, must have been the pressure, haha), and it was only on "Hard", not "Very Hard"! :P
I see a lot of potential - would you like me to help promote your vids? I have a nintendo blog that gets 1000 visitors a day - i could link you vids and all - just to help you get started

I'm new to this, and I've already made adjustments to episode 2 based on the feedback I got from episode 1. Whether you like it or hate it, any feedback will help me. I've already made adjustments from feedback I received from my national car club forum, which is mostly PS/XBox guys, so I am open to what you think about it! This is episode 2 where I review Super Mario 3D World, and give a gameplay hint for The Wonderful 101: I DO think I tried to cram too much into one episode, I was on the wire trying to get it under 5 min, and had to make creative cuts that I think have led me to believe that a game review should just be a single episode on its own... Enjoy! Or don't, either way... haha :P |
Awesome profile pic. Are you bring information DIRECTLY to us? lol
Great delivery. I'd add a background behind you. Also, invest in a good microphone (boom mic). Finally maybe some music or sounds while talking.
e=mc^2
Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

You're absolutely welcome to do so, but I have nothing to offer in return... :/

This is something I went over with my national car club forum from the first episode:
On a technical level, I'm stuck with what I've got. I've created a budget for this, and raising production values is tertiary to ensuring the content I'm delivering has appeal, and can grow as a show.
If, and that's a big IF, this show becomes profitable, you can bet your ass I'm going to upgrade! I'll put the money right back in the show and get studio lighting, a lavalier mic, etc.! :)
I liked it...you managed to be both professional and fun. Congrats!
I'm not sure where you plan to go with the show but other segments such as News, Previews and whatever else you can think of could be interesting and add variety to your show.
Also, having music in the background as well as an intro/outro would make your presentation even better!

I HAVE been thinking about an intro and outro, I'll have to give that some thought for awhile, though, lol...
About background music, that's not going to happen with the limitations of the software I'm working with :P Let's just say I set a low budget for this... If it starts getting serious subscribers and views, I will (as aforementioned) turn the money right back around into upgrading the show's production values!
Glad you liked it, though! :D
