Nintendo fans simply got used to there being nothing about the WiiU that captures their attention so all but the absolute diehards have fled to other systems or the 3DS.

This is why releasing new games for the WiiU isn't going to help a great deal.
Nintendo fans have been conditioned to prefer 3DS over the WiiU

As such, anyone expecting Project Cars to sell more than 500k units is in for quite the wakeup call.


i find it funny that all of a sudden nintedo fans of high standards of ports, when nintendo gives them hardware thats a generation behind the competition, especially the wii, the games looked horrible. all the ports are playable anyway they might be inferior, but that doesn't mean they still can't enjoy them.

That's the thing, Wii U will do much better once it's $250 and $200; in other words once it's in the actual price range of its target audience. (Besides the Nintendo faithful) It won't stay $299 forever.

This will be a mercy purchase on WiiU down the line. Will get the PC versionversion first for "obvious reasons".



I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime. 

The NX will be a 900p machine

Not that i disagree...but Wii games didnt look horrible...not at all. just because its low res doesnt mean its ugly...do you know Vincent Van Gogh?

That's tough, as without a release date it's tough to estimate the Wii U's install base at that time.

it's expected to release around Q3 or Q4 of 2014 and I'm pretty sure the audience on nintendo consoles aren't very fond of sim racers either.

Without any big sim racers on Nintendo consoles, it's hard to test that; many Wii U owners might be into GT/Forza on their PS3/360s.

Wanna bet that project CARS will sell less than 350K in it's first six months on the WII U ?

I honestly don't see it doing even 150K. When Mario Kart launches, most will forget it exists.

Agreed. Wii games like Muramasa, Kirby's Epic Yarn, and Mario Galaxy look beautiful.
