         I think they are going to release  lots of footage during E3. Same can be said for Uncharted and Zelda.

I honestly can't tell if you're being serious with this Halo not coming in 2014 stuff, that tweet in question  is specifically talking about Halo 5 because people freaked out when it wasn't on the games for 2014, it has been confirmed it wasn't listed because the official name hasn't been released yet. The Xbox One Halo will release in 2014.

The way they are so secretive and vague just means that they don't want to announce it either because they don't even know when it is finished or because the release is too much in the future. Vague tweets and uncommitted responses from the developers don't tell a story of confidence.

It would be a great boost for MS if they would just come out and announce Halo for the holiday season. Why are they not doing it? Because it is not coming out this year.

If it turns out I'm wrong I'll blame it on the shitty as always communication of Microsoft.

The first real gameplay we saw for Halo 4 was in March, was it not? But you are right, they're even secretive about the plot.

Did you deliberately ignore the fact that he said it was NOT Halo 5?
Again with the ambiguity. Could still be some kind of minor spinoff. Supported by the fact that what was shown in the trailer was not the actual game.

I believe that a main Halo title is coming out as soon as someone says it without ambiguity.

Yeah thats what I mean. Im not totally shocked we havent seen gameplay yet but we had the basic plot outline and tons of concept art well before Halo 4 was less than a year away.

 

They have said NOTHING about the plot yet. Not even 1 statement

Yes I ignored that fact despite me mentioning it being the reason why Halo wasn't on the list...

It's Halo with Master Chief, it's the next main title in the franchise regardless of title but feel free to wait.

Microsoft will probably do everything possible to make Halo5 release this year.
