Forums - Nintendo - Pachter: Nintendo should go third party until they can make a good console

Tagged games:

Yeah! That sounds reasonable! Pissing all over your own brand and your loyal costumers. Great work Pachter. Great work. Seriously, I think Pachter always has a good point - when he's NOT talking about Nintendo. He's said so himself; he doesn't "get" Nintendo. This, though, only goes to show that he doesn't understand branding as well. My Gods.

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

He wants Nintendo to help their competitors? I... what?

Yes. By doing this they get even more people to experience their games, which we know are mostly top notch. So when they get whatever amount of money they want, they can call it a day, go back to making consoles using the knowledge and experience that they got from working for MS and Sony. All those people who loved those ninty games will have no choice but to buy their new console, hopefully nintendo will make a powerful next gen machine along with a good online infrastructure so third party support wont be a problem( because of game quality parity and such), and thats it. Thats how nintendo can get back in the game. Of course this is all hypothetical.

It's so funny how things work. The novelty of Wii wore off justadd I predicted and now WiiU is doing badly. That's not the funny part though. It's that these so-called "experts" go anywhere the wind blows. All of a sudden they're doom and gloom regarding Nintendo and in love with Sony. I agree with Pachter only because I miss playing Zelda and would never purchase a console solely for one game or franchise.

How in the world would Nintendo be able to gain support for a new console after such a move? Nintendo fans wouldn't buy it in fear of getting the middle finger again and the rest would just wait for the games to be released on their system of choice.

Pachter you magnificent troll master has done it again.

So this is where we have come? Nintendo should go third party for a temporary period of time? Is he still mad about how many times Nintendo proved him wrong on the wii? Buthurt people just can't give us a break....

That's exactly the problem, their consoles (except wii) have no other values than first party software to customers. And people are starting to be tired of first party nintendo title (Let's be honest, it's been the same thing since 64 except a few title).

To me nintendo's main problem is having the same people working on the same IPs for 20-30 years. Nothing feels new with nintendo, except the hardware that's not as interesting as competition (except for wii, once again)

you what i just realized i could say to counter stuff like this why doesn't microsoft in sony do the same cause their games would make more money if they were multiplatform

Can we please stop posting Pachter news.

Does anyone really give a shit?

Given people like yourself continuously reply to such an article directly in relationship to Patcher, absolutely. Without a doubt (and no, I don't give a damn about Patcher, period, I'm just pointing out what should be obvious and would only reply in such a thread to do what I am doing now or if someone, most likely, has a problem with what I am saying).

After all, since a good portion of this community evidentially thrives on negativity and humor only 2-5 people find funny, it's not a surprise that it'll be brought to attention to apease those who crave for it (you could say they are just joking around, but remember, jokes are based off of some truth, even if the joke is distant from it, and when multiple similar jokes constantly appear, well... those bits of truth start to form something loud and ugly).
