So,what's so great about mobile gaming. Most mobile games are free/cheap puzzle games. Candy crush,fruit ninja are nothing but pick up and play 5 minutes distractions. Is there any deep immersive games,that suck you in? I also think touch controls,just flat out suck. They just simply take away from any little enjoyment that you get out of the game. No,I'm not going to invest in expensive third party controls,when I can just play more immersive games on my home gaming console,with a much bigger screen and deeper experience. So,Am I wrong in my thinking? So nikkom,what's the appeal?

Nothing great about them in my opinion.
They're so popular because everyone has a phone and they're cheap.

 There is nothing special about  mobile games.. People  use their mobile phones to play games, because the games are cheap and sometimes they are free. Sure,  most of the time  the games are not THAT good, but   people  don't really care. That or they simply find it too addictive to quit.

Cheap and accessible are two big reasons for appeal. There are some good games that pop up and some genres that do work better.

During the goty season last month, i saw quite a few mobile games getting attention. Now, they might not be too deep but it is step in the right direction. Also every game doesn't have to be deep.
