IMHO Monolith should have stuck with developing on the PS3. If this is Monolith softs best offering they're robbing themselves out of SO MUCH cash releasing this on the Wii U! Oh well I still hope it's successful, and Wii U gamers pick it up like no other along with Bayonetta 2. I have my doubts though because these aren't your typical 6-12 year old fan favorites. These games are for teens and up don't you guys think? Are they marketing to half of the WIi U install base or even less do you think? I'm kind of thinking they are, and it will make these games struggle to get far beyone 1 million on the Wii U platform. I don't know if that is good.

Your opinion is irrelevant, because you a) Don't know that Monolith never developed for PS3, and b) Don't know that Monolith is owned by Nintendo.  The rest of your derogatory remarks about Wii U being for 6-12 year olds is just drivel, and a weak attempt to annoy Nintendo fans.  Come on, up your flame game!!

If Nintendo advertises properly it can sell a lot.

So are you saying that it won't sell a lot?

Nothing wrong with a little grassroots fan hype. Maybe if we act like the game is the second coming, the rest of the world will believe it. Stranger things have happened.

I'm still very much on the fence about buying a WiiU given the current line-up, but I've got to say a great JRPG with mecha elements in it could be absolutely awesome, of all the WiiU's upcoming games this one intrigues me the most.

I can't help but worry that it won't be as successful as it deserves to be because of the WiiU's poor sales, but who knows, WiiU seems to have a strange install base - they seem to lap-up big nintendo titles but ignore more obscure options like W101. I worry X may meet the same fate :(

X is really looking great so far! I got right into it, after I saw the first trailer. If I have the money this is gonna be day one.

Now waiting anticipated for...

Like a lot of you guys say, Nintendo NEEDS to really push this game. As if it was Mario or Zelda.

I'm saying if they don't advertise it well it won't sell. Its as simple as that.

I feel like X was THE game that gets the "hardcore" talking about the Wii U. Not to say there aren't more "hardcore" games out there that are great (Arkham City Wii U version is my only 100/100 game reviewed ever) but X just looks stunning. Nintendo probably knows that word of mouth is spreading about the very very small amount of that game we saw a very long time ago. Personally, I don't know if I've ever heard about a Nintendo game receiving such dedicated, cult following after such a brief showing. It's awesome!
