Its got to be Mario 3D world, followed by Windwaker HD and Pikmin 3. May i also add that the lighting effects in Zombi U are top notch too, the whole look of the game suits the dark atmosphere.

Tell yourself whatever you like, but ZombiU was very low grade on graphics technology. Generally poor animations, lighting, textures, etc by the standards of other similar games.

It was the player character models that got me, they looked so awkward.

What the hell? No Wind Waker HD?

Hence "other" ;)

I expect X will take the crown easily this year just based on Monolithsoft's work. They are what Squaresoft once was.

Wind Waker HD is very impressive, especially considering it's the exact same polygon count as the original release.

Though some of the character models look very 'launchy' ZombiU's atmosphere and locales are brilliant looking.

Nintendo Land also deserves more credit for its textures and overall presentation.

Either Pikmin 3 or Super Mario 3D World. And I'm content knowing those were only "first gen" software titles, meaning they were only scratching the surface of what Wii U is capable of graphically. I think a lot of people are going to be very surprised just how good some Wii U games are going to look within the next few years.

Everything people have mentioned so far are good choices. 3D World, Pikmin 3, and Trine 2 all looked pretty damn gorgeous. I also agree that a lot of the lighting effects in Zombi U were very well done, that was one thing that immediately stood out when I played it.

I'd have to say for me, I personally prefer 3D World. It's simplistic, but all the elements come together so well.

I chose Pikmin 3 it looks Super Yummy since I play the game all the time

There Are Many Paths to Gaming Heaven

SM3DW and Pikmin 3 in my opinion

Gaming on:

PC:
Asus Z87-A  |  i7 4770K  |  MSI Radeon RX 480 Gaming X 8GB
G. Skill Ripjaws X Series 32 GB DDR3 2133 mhz  |  WD Blue 1TB SSD & WD Blue HDD 1TB

Consoles:
WiiU
Switch (Docked)
PS 3 / 4

Handhelds:
New 3ds XL
Switch (Portable Mode ;P )

I think the first three on the poll are the top three.

Pikmin 3 could take the top spot but it is slightly uneven in areas, they really needed separate ground textures for when the camera was up close, which detracts slightly from the otherwise beautiful aesthetic. In parts it is utterly beautiful.

Trine 2 is simply gorgeous and if not for the larger scale and fluidity on display in SM3DW it would have my top spot.

Agreed; most of the time it's absolutely gorgeous, but every now and then there's a ground texture that looks like its a holdover from the game's beginnings as a Wii title.

It's still good looking overall, but I would place 3D World and Trine 2 above it.
