First week after Xmas drops more than last year. Old gen, except PS3, is fading away, and new gen isn't big enough to compensate the drop yet. Waiting to see at which level sales will settle...
And ouch @ Wii U in Europe.
About SW: GT6 over 2M, it won't sell like GT5, but it should do quite good.

The software chart for X1 and PS4 is abysmal. Just goes to prove that neither system has any games. Plenty of people buying the systems, then finding there's no reason to play them. I've played 1 retail game, Knack, the free Resogun and PS Plus Don't Starve. That's it for me until Uncharted comes out, I don't care for anything coming out in Febuary and March.

It will be interesting to see if games like Infamous and TItanfall give the console a big boost, or if people who want those have already bought the console, they just did it early instead of waiting.   I think that is part of the reason Wii U sales started to great and then plummeted.  Pikmin 3 has actually sold pretty decently but it had zero impact on the hardware sales because the people (including myself) that wanted it bought the console months earlier.  SM3DW is the 1st game since the Wii U launched that actually had a sizable impact on sales.

I've seen this before. Can you remember when the PS4 outsold the X1, which released in 13 regions, against the PS4 which only released in 2? Regardless of how you choose to present your logic, the PS4 is outselling the X1 and has done from the very start. You can't now use the fact that Sony have released in more countries as a reason for the X1 losing. MS released in their strongest regions and Sony dedicated most of their consoles to those regions too. You're going to be mightily disappointed if you hold on to that theory.

3.1 million V 4.4 million and widening by the week. Europe is Sony and always has been (more so this time around) and Japan NEVER buy MS consoles, but they do buy Sony consoles. Expect that gap to grow to 2.4 million during the week of the Japanese launch. Just to clarify, I'm not suggesting the PS4 will sell 1 million units in one day, I'm suggesting the accumulated sales from other regions + Japan will add another 1 million to the gap.

It could actually be more but there's little point in speculating how well the Driveclub or Infamous bundles will do when there's no solid release date. But expect the American shipments to increase substantially at those times.

The countries that Xbox One released in make up like 80-90% of 360 sales, not likely those extra countries will greatly benefit One

PS4 outsold Xbone in all these 13 counties except Australia if I'm wrong... the big one PS4 just sold more: US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Spain, etc.

So even with more than 13 countries Xbone won't outsell PS4.
