I like and enjoy 3d gaming.

ps4 (and xbone too i believe) are perfectly capable of doing 3D but the developer has to support it. so long as market doesn't give a shit about 3D developers won't waste time/money/resources on supporting the feature in game. so yep, it's dead.

Making a game in 3D costs money. PS4, Xbox One, PS360, WIi U, etc, don't tout that every game has 3D. the 3DS on the other hand does..... and Pokemon X/Y is the only game to have 99% of the game without some sort of 3D effect.

I personally really like the 3D effect, though, so if I can get a good game that uses 3D well, I will.

idk why sony stoped i enjoyed gran turismo 5 and killzone 3 and 3d but they stoped for the next versions of the games.....

I'm part of the minority that loves the 3D on 3DS though.

Not much keen on 3D tv's/pc's were you gotta use glasses.

Occulus Rift could well be the only thing that pushes 3d gaming.

I'm not saying 3d gaming is dead yet, but 3d Tvs never caught on like the manufacturers wanted. I read that Vizio has dropped 3d from all of their new lines of TVs. That is not a good sign for 3d.

Not on Pc anyway. Playing Burnout Paradise right now on an 80inch screen in perfect 3d and it is orgasmic. I still winch a little when I hit another car because it is that immersing. 3d gaming on consoles was always hit or miss for me. Wipeout and Sonic generations was very good but the 3d in the Sly collection and Arkham city was very underwhelming.

Ya there was or is a push, but aside from the theatre, people just don't give two shits.
