I would probably go X, IX as well, but other than those 2, I don't really like rating the rest that I have played. I've enjoyed them all

9 is great in many regards, but I got to tell you the overall story line was rather blah. Very consistent, well presented, but it really didn't click with me, took way too long to intensify, and poor climax. I liked everything else in that game though, except the card game.

Oh I thought you meant best FF ever, not just for the PS1. Obviously X is the best of all time
