It was a store's opening sale. Probably wasnt the only one. As i said, in the big spectrum this means nothing. Means that something like 30 to 50 Wii U's got sold.
Its definitly not a clearance sale like some believed. If it was i would be getting me a Wii U tomorrow. lol

You seem to be missing the fact that the retailer used the Wii U as a sacrificial lamb to get people into the store. Did they lower the PS3 to 99e, no, because the PS3 will move at (or close to) full price.
That means "something".

Sacrificial lamb? Does that mean that they had the least to lose by discounting it?
You are beeing ridiculous. If there was a PS3 rebate, it wouldnt make the news cause Nintendo is the fun company to shout DOOM at.
There is no inventory to go through when its the opening of a new shop. Your insistance in trying to convince people that this is a bad sign for Nintendo is questionable at best. Again... this is nothing. This is just an opening sale, for one day. The Wii U was surely not the only item in discount, or do you think everyone went to the shop just for the Wii U?
End of the line, 30-50 Wii U's got sold. I would say that is more positives than negatives. This could have had the sponsorship of Nintendo BE aswell.
But i guess you dont want to listen to reason. Go on, keep shouting your doom's. I dont think its logic and common sense that will stop you now.

Right, where do you think the inventory came from for that store, straight from Nintendo? I think it's far more likely they were sourced from other stores in the chain that needed to clear floor space. Yes, they did have the least to loose by discounting the Wii U when you realize that shelf space is money, & a product that doesn't move is costing them money everyday just buy sitting there, so yes, it is an attempt to stop the bleeding on that bundle and turn it into a positive.
I don't personally think Nintendo themselves would have anything to do with a promotion that under values the Wii U so extreamly, but that's just a guess.
I"m not saying this means other retailers are going to follow suit, never said that, I think it's kind of funny that you can't admit that this means anything at all, no matter how small that something may be.
As an example of pattern, here in Canada you could get the Wii U skylanders bundle for $199cdn (137.3 euros) for one day only, and that was after it sat at $220 (151.8 euros) for weeks and didn't sell out. Now was that a different situation? That retailer was clearing stock chain wide of a bundle, but maybe if this Belgium retailer had only 50 units of an outdated bundle chain wide they decided to send them all to one store for it's opening and just slash the price, effectivly doing the same thing as clearing stock chain wide for the bundle.
So what does this mean?
