Looks like they're rubbing it in to me. Though three things I'll say. Finally Japan gets the short end of the stick, and they deserve it after not supporting the Vita despite getting far more support than the west does. Third though is that with the lack of Japanese games ready for launch, seems they wanted to push it back a few months. Everyone knows that western developed games sell like ass in Japan. You really think Killzone is going to move consoles in Japan?
It was a smart move that Sony did this. Capture the US and European markets as much as they can to dominate those areas first, t hen go to Japan where they know da** well they're going to dominate compared to Xbox.
Those saying Japan will stick to Wii U. Be realistic. If Japan was going to go with Wii U, don't you think sales would have increased dramatically immediately after the Japanese knew they were getting snubbed? The Wii U is a slightly more powerful PS3 and just like why it's not selling well everywhere else, a lot of people in Japan want a true next gen console. Not a marginal upgrade. The Wii U will be Japan's secondary console. Not bashing the Wii U, it's just how things are looking to turn out.
