Paper Mario. Intelligent Systems are supposed to have been working on something for quite some time. Hopefully it's back to turn based combat too.

Should change the title to REAL mario game, because I really don't consider sports games mario games, Mario Kart is the exception. ( Is karting even a sport?)

New Super Mario Bros. 3DS

Paper Mario U-Hopefully they go back to consoles with Paper Mario and hopefully it'll be turn-based w/leveling like the first 2 in the series. Doubt it'll be ready anytime soon, but it'll be BEAUTIFUL in HD!

Mario Party 10 (w/ online multiplayer! *gasp!*)-This will be announced and released in 2015 after Wii Party U has had some time on the shelf and in the Japanese bundles.

Mario Sports-Strikers could happen...the other options like Golf, Tennis, Baseball are unlikely in the near future because they want to focus on Wii Sports Club and the inevitable retail collection of all 5 sports once they are available.

Super Mario Universe-Nintendo confirmed in Iwata Asks that the EAD Tokyo team couldn't work on Super Mario 3D World at the same time as another game...but now that 3D World is out, this is likely their next project. Hopefully a grand-scale, single-player-focused adventure in the vein of the Galaxies, but with larger landforms and more open-world exploration like 64 and Sunshine. Miyamoto has already hinted in several interviews that the recent 3D Land/3D World type of Mario game does NOT mean they won't make more in the vein of 64/Sunshine/Galaxy. Also, Super Mario Universe as a title is just a no-brainer. It writes itself.

Those are my Wii U predictions. 3DS I think has pretty much run the gamut of Mario games for the time being. Mario Golf: World Tour will hopefully be the end of the Mario parade on 3DS for a while. Hopefully other franchises will get some new installments while Mario takes a break. Or, y'know, instead of coming up with new gameplay concepts and saying "let's make this a Mario game!" Nintendo will try something new with (God-forbid) NEW characters and IPs.

See I just do not see Nintendo putting up another 3D Mario as their next game announcement, they just released 3D World, which is considered 3D Mario, right? I'm thinking spinoff is next. Intelligent Systems has been working on something, but like many people have said a sports game, or a "out of left field" game is not out of the question.
