ADJUSTMENTS IN PREVIOUS WEEKS

3DS 26,658
PS3 -8,944
360 81,654
Wii 0
DS 2
PSP 0
PSV 16,304
Wii U -37,441
PS4 95,357
Xbone 47,410

PS4 numbers starts to get accurate with the know trackers and Xbone seems to be overtracked yet based in the official trackers.

Has the Xbox One released in some "Rest of the World" area because N. America + Europe = 338 K and the total for Xbox One is 357 k

Not really, most of those sales are from Brazil and Australia. PS4 just launched in a bunch of rest of world countries so the chart has a big representation from them.

Xbone just released in 13 countries: Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Spain, United Kingdom, United States and New Zealand.

From these I guess Australia, Brazil, Mexico and New Zealand are tracked in "Rest of the World" here

Wrong thread.

VGChartz, just adjust UK up and stop with this folly.

VGC numbers are pretty accurate in UK.

And yeap... PS4 sold a lot in Mid-East and Asia.

120k it´s too much. I don´t think this number has ever happened.

50k would be high but reasenable, there is just no PS4 restock to Lat America or Australia. Why lose those markets and win very little in smaller countries?

If true Sony could have alocated all that units to USA or EU and atend demand for the rest of the week, not only 2 days (Amazon). Or South America, there is surely a unatended demand here.

Well, MS can only thank Sony for streching their sales and prevent a greater lead in the major markets.

120k for Australia + Latin America + Mid-East + Asia is too low yet... the preorders in Mid-East and Asia are huge and everything Sony shipped get sold out.

Sony is suppling US and EU almost in week basis... the issue is that the demand is too high.

BTW PS4 is selling close to 2:1 over Xbone in UK... Amazing.

The official numbers are:

PS4: 530k
Xbone: 364k

VGC shows (still witing one more week):

PS4: 468k
Xbone: 333k

So next week sales here will be close to:

PS4: 62k
Xbone: 31k

PS4 is the new UK King

Another great news.

Well, if it´s too high in US is the 1 to 1 to XOne and EU is 2 to 1 with 3/2 more territories. UK is less than 5 to 3, only major discrepancy is in Spain, 4 to 1.

I don´t think demand in US should be 1 to 1 when the PS4 is 20% cheaper.

It´s clear that MS flooded the US market and there is a level of shortage at PS4 side. And again, no restok for south america.

PS: Is VGChartz considering the suposed  Australia´s "unfullfiled" preoders as sales?

I will wait more data but I think Sony shipped more units than MS to US and Europe in December.

There are restock of PS4 every week to be sold out in hours.

Loving the apologists squirming and the ninty fans pretending the wiiu doesn't exist and that the 3ds+2ds are home consoles.

Ps4 owned holiday sales, and will continue to throughout 2014, looking forward to future threads.

Two sides of the coin:

1. Ps4 dominated home consoles. Sony is King

2. 3ds dominated hanheld concoles and home consoles. Ninty is king.

Both valid points as far as I'm concerned. It's all a matter of how you see things.

In the end, it doesn't matter how you see it, or I see it. Sony is the king of home consoles and Nintendo is king of handhelds.
