I can't believe how good 360 still sells... It outsold PS3 this week which had so many exclusives while 360 had close to none. 3rd best selling system this week, this thing is still a box of wonders.

It actually is given the lack of unique games (according to forum-opinions) and given it's the oldest system of the last gen.

Just a piece of advice. Avoid this, as it is against the forum's rules. You have to at least back up your claim.

OT: Not surprised by this. Can't wait for official numbers, though even then ps4 numbers will be very close to sold (since they sell almost every consol they ship), while xbone numbers will be more difficult to interpret considering that shortages are not that much of an issue based on various reports we've seen (I also noticed that myself by going to my local hmv; they had a sign saying "Xbox ONe in stock now!", while ps4 was out of stock). 

Two sides of the coin: 

1. Ps4 dominated home consoles. Sony is King

2. 3ds dominated hanheld concoles and home consoles. Ninty is king. 

Both valid points as far as I'm concerned. It's all a matter of how you see things. 

Everybody know how the 3ds performed compare to DS in the same timeframe?

Its simple really, Sony is home console king, ninty is handheld king, sony sucks for handhelds, ninty sucks for home consoles.

No offense, but:

1. Grammar works.

2. Guaranteed, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, possibly X, Zelda U, a new Metroid at some point, and probably even another 3D Mario, along with many other games we don't even know of yet, will do just what you said.

Lol, true.  It could very easily end up being 20M-22M, but I just went with the safer estimate.

Forget about it. Nobody in the other European countries cares about XO and waits for it. Trust me, I'm from one of the biggest of them (Poland) and here everyone is pissed at MS for treating us worse, like second quality customers. I really can't see any reason why they wouldn't already release it January 1st or at least announce the launch of XO in the rest of Europe considering XO is collecting dust in the West and they don't have to think about restocking it. They could launch it this month in whole Europe without any stock issues.

In Poland X360 is almost on par with PS3 this gen, but there is no way this is gonna repeat. Not after how they treat us and you know, the extra 100 Euro is actually a lot of money. You can get an extra game and a year of PS+ for that. X360 was popular because it was cheap and easily hackable, these two biggest attributes are gone now and so is any chance of success.

My bet for this gen is: PS4 > Wii U > XO. PS4 being the most dominant console and Wii U being the perfect supplement to it. XO is gonna be a good console that nobody really needs and wants, cause it won't justify its price.

It IS a videogame console. And it IS competing for the same hard-earned money videogame fans spend, even not being a home but instead a portable console. Specially now that the casuals are abandoning dedicated gaming devices, I do think that those are amazing numbers.
