Forums - Nintendo - Is Activision going to give up on the WiiU?

We will see... Since Nintendo Network is down due to a shit ton of sales, lets see how much the wiiU has actually sold... If not much then yea, they should, if it sold a decent to large amount, then maybe not since a low percent of something is better than 0%.

It´s Activision´s own fault that Call of Duty: Ghosts for the Nintendo Wii U does not sell good because their not supporting the Nintendo Wii U version, and they announced that before the game was released!!! And because DLC is very important for Call of Duty: Ghosts gamers, no one purchased the Nintendo Wii U version which has no DLC!!!

I knew this comment would pop up sooner rather than later.

They're not supporting the Wii U version because a whole four people purchased the game.  They're not going to spend time and money releasing DLC in the future when the game didn't sell well.  This specific DLC was free, but when porting the paid DLC over won't gain them a profit, you won't see that either.

Nintendo fans only buy first party games and sometimes exclusives, so third party developers should drop them.  It's a waste to support a fanbase that only cares about the latest rehash of Mario, Zelda, etc.

Wouldn't be surprised, except for like what a couple other people already said and keep releasing skylanders for it.

If they would release something besides that or cod(last and only one I played was modern warfare 1) I would possibly support them depending on the game.

Check out my site: http://www.agamingwebsite.blogspot.com/

Probably Getting: Bravely Second, Devil's Third, Final Fantasy 15, Final Fantasy Explorers, Super Smash Bros U, Star Fox U, The Witcher 3, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Zelda U

The moment you resorted to the "rehash" cliche, you lost all credibility.

So  Super Mario 3D World isn't a rehash?  Oh.  That's right.  Super Mario 3D Land.

They'll keep releasing on the Wii U. The Wii U is actually much better for their COD titles than the Wii was as they can near enough port the 360/PS3 versions over unlike creating an alternative COD game for the Wii each time.

In regards to sales they'll just estimate the sales and release as many copies as they see fit, they'll sell and they'll profit as usual.

People seem to be forgetting companies like Warner Brothers support the Wii U a lot with Batman as well as the Lego series.

Also Sega are obviously supporting Nintendo as are Capcom with Monster Hunter & Resident Evil.

The only big third party publisher who have said they're not touching the Wii U really is EA... Who quite frankly I can do without. Having butchered Maxis & Bioware I don't really care for anything they have to offer. Some do but I'm not bothered.

I don't think that was report material, I don't agree with him but it wasn't that bad.

THE REASON NO ONE BOUGHT THE NINTENDO WII U VERSION WAS THAT ACTIVISION TOLD EVERYONE BEFORE THE GAME WAS RELEASED THAT THEY WILL NOT SUPPORT THE NINTENDO WII U VERSION WITH DLC!!! NO SUPPORT = NO SALES !!!
