The point I'm making is not to make him out to be a violent extremist, but that he's a muslim, and is probably very passionate and deep-seated in his beliefs, just as you are in yours. I'm trying to give you perspective. You can replace it with a picture of a cocksure jew, scientologist, or athiest and my point is still that our collective scientific and spiritual knowledge is negligible when trying to understand whatever the fuck the universe and existence is, and the way I see it, you have a screwed up, arrogant perception of the world around you if you think you have the slightest clue more than anyone else.

I definitely have more clue than someone who's arguing the point of "the foundations of the earth", I'm sorry. I can be humble all you want but there's a limit. (yeah, I'm looking at BMaker)

For the rest, of course I agree with you, and I'm pretty sure I agree with you on much more than you think. If that's what you meant by the image, then of course I know what you mean, but it doesn't change the fact that I consider Evolution a fairy tale by virtue of its concept, irrespective of my beliefs.

Don't try and act all enlightened now. And don't act humble either. You're the guy who says "evolution is a fairy tale" and then "I'm more intelligent than you". That's pretty contradictory considering the vast majority of the scientific community accepts evolution to be true. You're picking a thousands year old myth over current scientific evidence? And you're somehow more intelligent than me based on that one issue?

I always find it funny how convenient it is to claim "metaphor" when something Biblical is proven scientifically false. I'm sorry that I call a spade, a spade, and don't jump on the "it's just a metaphor" train when Biblical teachings are shown to be false. You don't have more of a clue about anything if you think the most supported scientific theory is a "fairy tale" but believe that women came from a rib

no struggle to survive anymore. what traits are best at this point? we tailor to the lowest common denominator. can people with disfigurations procreate? can handicapped procreate? can idiots procreate? can jobless procreate? yes, yes, yes, yes, so not easy to see which traits will survive...seemingly all.

lol@guy calling evolution a "fairy tale" obviously clueless

As Soleron said earlier, it'll be the ability to evolve ourselves and improve the human body to go beyond our current limitations.

A both exciting and daunting prospect for our future.

There is no next step. Evolution is a fairy tale.

The images used in that clip are beautiful, a shame really a deity gets credit, the universe is awe inspiring all by itself.
I suggest you educate yourself on the subject before you call the Theory of Evolution a fairy tale.
Here's some scientific evidence and a paper directed more towards the average person if you are willing put in the time required to fully understand what rejecting evolution really means.

OT: We have an extremely diverse way of life amongst ourselves. Not only geographical location but tradition, culture and technology, among other things, change the way we take care of ourselves, interact with our surroundings and eachother. Allowing this diversity to flourish, the distant future could see the human species branching off into different subspecies, each more adept to their own surroundings. Scientific progress has the potential to guide or even control the path of evolution though.

Is isn´t obvious?

X-Men daaaaahh!

just curious.. Why exactly do you think evolution is a fairy tale. I think its extremely ironic you make this claim because religion is about as close to the definition of fairy tale as you get.. Whereas evolution is backed by science, and hard evidence. Yet, even taking the science and evidence out of the equation, I would think evolution is simple common sense. Think about it.. What happens when a mutation within a species arises that gives them a clear edge over the competition? Naturally, those with the mutation live on while those without it slowly die out.. The mutation then becomes the norm and the cycle repeats. Eyes were at one point merely a mutation. This isnt even complex science.. This is like, middle school biology/genetics class..
