True... Kind of... They have been issueing legal same sex marriage licenses... So im not really sure how to classify the situation...

You know, I am a mormon, so I can understand why you are getting the scowls.  There isnt a mormon alive today that has ever practiced or believes in polygamy, but that seems to be the only thing most people know about mormons, so it can be frustrating.

Mormons do not have multiple partners. Not since the 1800's. Been illegal since then and made illegal by the mormons themselves. It's an old misconception.

I don't care......I'm not against gays nor for it but it seems this subject keeps getting literally shoved down our throats all the time in the media, plus the fact that you can't express your real feelings on this subject without getting called a homophobe! Just take a look at that duck dynasty guy, where's our freedom of speech?

Personally, I think the arguments have gone down the wrong path.  Instead of argueing for same sex couples to be allowed to marry, I think the argument should have been why is the government in charge of anybody being allowed to marry?  The personal commitment of two people to each other should be nobodys business but their own.  Why do we let the government charge us for a license that says who we are commited to?

In the USA Churches will have no say in their ability to keep citizens from their civil rights. I was simply stating that  A STATE has a right to defend a traditional marrige and its laws, federal goverment has no say in Utah's laws regarding gay marrige.

I would hope that the Mormons should spend more of the time and the hundreds of millions of dollars they have spent trying to destroy same sex families on something good and meaningful.  The ironic thing is, with their large families, Mormons they produce more gay kids by percentage than all other families in the USA.  (The number of brothers a male child has directly increased the chances of said child being gay.)  Makes me wonder why they are attacking their own familes.

You do know that LDS church donated almost 1 billion dollars in over 180 countries around the world, right? How much did your beloved LGBT lobby spend on helping innocent, poor and sick people around the world instead of promoting their agenda?

It seems that two men or two women getting married makes you uncomfortable.  May I ask why?

This is true right now, but can definitely change.  A supreme court ruling would be required to be followed by the states.

Since when is wanting equal rights an agenda.  You do realize how badly gay people have been treated in the past.  Labeled mentally ill and experimented upon to "cure" them.  Many had electroshock, some were lobotomized. Being arrested was common.  They were denied employment and housing.  It was real persecution and oppression, not this fake "war on christmas" crap.

And the LDS church donating money around the world doesn't excuse what they do to people that leave the church (shunning) or the money they spent trying to deny gay couples equal rights.

Not really surprising. Although, I'm not trying to make conclusions about states based off of "statistics" or prior knowledge.

I understand that, but that doesnt mean that it is justified.  I mean, most of these rights and priveledges were created by the government to justify their own intrusion.  Spousal benfits can be set up on a individual basis, there is no reason the government needs to be involved.  They are involved now because marriage is literally written into the tax code.  My point is that is crap and should be done away with.

however, I realize that isnt going to happen anytime soon, so Legalizing same sex marriage is better than nothing....

It always amazes me how self proclaimed "heterosexual" men can be so up in arms about 2 men getting married?! Personally I could give a rats bottom what another man is doing in his bedroom as long as he isn't doing my wife. lol

Instead of chasing other heterosexual women, these homophobic heterosexual men would rather be upset at gay men and that's super SUSSSSSSS if you ask me. lol
