I would say I have to agree, and I'm listening to their newest album right now.

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

As long as the OP isn't Grad School paper length, I take the time to read it.

If I'm going to comment, then I read the entire OP.

Half the reason I do this, though, is so that I can catch and mock people who have missed something, such as an indication at the end of the OP that the entire thing was a joke. That's when it become fun.

I usually do it but when the OP starts out stupid right off the bat I usually stop reading. Which burns me when reading joke threads. But I always start reading them atleast.

Oh, and another exception it the classical wall of text.

Every time unless I specify otherwise in my post. Usually, I read every post in a thread before posting too just to make sure I'm not repeating something someone else has said. I usually say something like "I only read the OP" or "I only read the first few posts" if I skip. Sometimes, I've read the first sentence or paragraph and I get so full of rage, I have to reply because it's so wrong. I normally specify that, too.

It's a headache sometimes but I don't want to make a fool out of myself.

Specifying what you read is a pretty clever way to admit your level of attention to a thread. I might have to copy that idea

If it's less than a page or two, I read every word. Otherwise if it's something like "Remedy gives more details about Quantum Break," I just look for the details.

I also read every comment 99% of the time before posting. When it's a long thread I read the first page comments and the last page comments to get up to speed.

This is what I basically do as well. But I still read the OP if the thread has 4 or less pages (and my I set each page to have 25 posts).

Every time. Unless the thread is John Lucas'.

Oh, and sometimes I experience an awesome moment in a video game and I want to talk about it but I don't want to create a thread. A lot of the time, that game isn't current anymore. I find any thread that's remotely related to what I'm thinking and shoehorn my feelings into it.

I just managed to slip Forza Horizon and Beyond Two Souls into a Wii U thread. I'm resourceful like that. Those games just look so amazing! ;)

I only fully read the OP if it ain't too long so maybe just over half the time

Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030

Half the time, though I'm trying to improve. I find that many people get off topic on their own first post or say a lot of extraneous information; or they're just boring and I only want to respond to a single part of their post.
