How even dare u to compare Pokemon and Digimon ?

...not so much for me. but the japanese should react well to this and anything that helps the vita is good news to me.

I've been dying to play Digimon since the PS1 era so hoping this comes to the West.

Erm, Digimon series was created first. No matter, Vita is saved ( again ).

i would drop 100$ on this game this was my favorite as a kid..
have every episode recorded on vhs..
when ever i had to go shoping with my parents i would get the action figures i still have like 100...

Digimon is actually a ripoff of Tamagotchi. If you're too young to remember, they are those little key chain "pets" that you could take care of. Maybe they still have them, I don't know. 

They definitely capitalized on the success of Pokemon with the movies and TV shows, but they do make sense on their own, and they never really copied the "Gotta Catch 'Em All" format of Pokemon that others, like Monster Rancher, did.

I never got into digimon, I always thought it was just a Pokemon rip off...Am I wrong? cause I haven't really watched it.

I know, Digimon definitely top 5 shows i watch as a kid!!! (im talking about the first 2 seasons). Definetly Digimon>>>Pokemon in the anime. The games however Get destroyed even though i enjoyed a couple of the spin offs!!!
