This is ridiculous, Nintendo is DEAD.

They're continuing to milk their IP with ridiculous knocks-off instead of delivering real game.

yeahhhh ok bro, did you see the trailer? Its a completely new game, nintendo has never done this. Good Try though lol

It looks like Dynasty Warriors with Link as the main character. And Dynasty Warriors has been milked to death. Sorry but i agree this does not bode well.

I kno about dynasty warriors but thts like if SSB was released every year like COD (milked) then PSASBR came out....  Not a fair comparison cuz if i said PSASBR milked/doomed i be dead wrong

Man ion know. Dynasty warrior like games get borin fast imo. But its zelda so eh.

SO I have been saying forever that I am not buying a WiiU until they make a proper 2D Super Metroid sequel. I am buying a WiiU for this game.

Will we still get a real Zelda game for the Wii U?

This must be trolling, because you couldn't possibly be asking such a dumb question for real. OF COURSE there's a "real" Zelda game coming, it's in development, it's BEEN in development since 2012 (at least), it's been common knowledge for a long time that Nintendo is working on an epic new HD Zelda title.

What THIS is, for those who are good at actually bothering to pay attention before typing knee-jerk reaction posts, is a game by Koei that is in the style of their Dynasty Warriors games. It's a hack n slash action title, set in Hyrule. It's not an official Zelda release, it's not "canon", it's just a fun collaboration, that is bound to go a lot better than Other M did, because Koei doesn't suck ass at developing games like Team Ninja does. It's bound to be fun, and it's another good exclusive for the system.

It really does help to pay attention, just saying.

I liked the trailer. I would never have bought one of the DW games, but if this game doesn't suck I'll pick it up. Looks kinda fun to squash your opponents in that way :D

Looks like a decent trailer, I would like to see more playable characters and NPCs, because trailer lacked variety.
Graphics looked bad even for a Musou game, especially environments but in some pics on this thread the game looked better.

A good concept for a 3rd party could be a Zelda ala Shadow of the Colossus, with a simple but motivating story with only epic boss fights with some customizable options like weapons, clothes, etc but just for looks not for upgrades. And make an online world ala Monster hunter where you fight co-op with friends against some epic monsters, they could use the E3 demo graphic style, it would fit perfectly.

I really don't like Dynasty Warriors games. So meh.

Never have bought a Dynasty Warrior game and I will buy this one just because it's Zelda themed... Does that make me a dumb person? No, because I like Zelda and I'm intereste. If you think the game is not gonna be good, don't buy it... Easy...

I think Ninty i trying to help third party studios find success in the Wii U by allowing them to use their characters, interesting concept, however, Ninty should supervise quality, we dont want another Metroid. Other M (which imo wasnt a bad game) but if this works out, might not be a bad idea letting other studios do some of their franchises, `wouldnt mind having SEGA (Atlus) do some work with the Fire Emblem cast, Square Enix attempt a comeback to the Mario RPG days, or the Mario Luigi saga, Treyarch or Bungie (now a third party)give Starfox or Metroid Prime a go, this would allow Ninty and Retro to focus on the so desired "new" IPs

Very interesting indeed, could there be a Nintendo Lego game in the future? I'd pay attention to that.

Isn't that what Lego City was?

You either don't understand my point, or have no idea about Lego City Undercover, or most likely both of the above.

I am fantasizing about a game like Marvel Heros Lego only with characters from the Nintendo Universe.

Ok, so basically it's Nintendo fans hyping up a game that they'd otherwise have zero interest in, just because it has one of their beloved characters in it.

Well, that's kind of the point of the entire game now isn't it?   To attract fans from both series that may not have an interest in either idividually?   That's usually the idea behind doing a cross over game.

That might be the point but I can't believe people are falling for it so easily, I mean this is such a CoD fan mentality: "Look, last year we got CoD in I-have-no-idea-what-last-years-cod-was-about, but this year we get CoD with dogs, so that's totally different, I need to get this game"

I mean I'm not telling people to not get the game, but to just think about what they're hyping up here and maybe try a Dynasty Warriors game before making this into something special, I mean it's not even made by Nintendo.
