Spot on !

I have to admit; I had my sights set on summer/fall 2014, February was just an impossible thought. It's a combination of the PS4 performing better than I expected and the Wii U performing worse.

Insane, it had a one year head-start and will be caught after about three damn months, wow...

PS4 : Make the impossible possible.

I think core gamers for the most part just dont take Ninty seriously. At least in home console market.

Games have never been more important to the PlayStation's performance in Japan, all things considered though, it would take a drastic market upheaval to abandon the platform as some people are suggesting.
Contrary to popular believe, the Wii lost support that the GC had, so even though the chartz show Nintendo rising from the ashes, the truth is that Ninty has steadily been losing universal third party to support to Sony.
The only company that was able to stymie PS's third party support was Microsoft with the 360, but that was only beneficial in the Western Market, and advantage that seems to have returned to PS this generation. Thus it stands to reason, regardless of how well the Wii U does, the PS4 will probably outsupport it in terms of games soon. Not to mention that the Wii U's poor sales will be used as an excuse to not support it, while the Wii' extraordinary sales managing to convince some publisher to try for weak ports anyway.

Barring any big paradigm shifts next year I'd say at the end of 2014.

However, if Nintendo finally does reveal software at E3 that proves the Gamepad as a game changer to the masses, then much later. Maybe never.

counldnt help me self, end of 2014 if ever lol.

Haha, yeah, I was way off with the end of 2014.

Kinda reminds me of this post claiming the possibility of PS4 selling 20m in Japan.  Lol.
