Forums - Microsoft - So, shall we jump on the "XBONE IS DOOMED" bandwagon ?

SO??

Wow. Much doom. New Dreamcast. 562 72.33%

Very sales. Such dominance. 209 26.90%

Total:771

Xbox one is selling fine? Why does this thread need to be a thing? Why does everyone say wait till Halo comes out? Titanfall will sell systems I am sure........

Its kind of moronic that people are saying its doomed cause it is 100 more, yet those people probably all bought ps3 @ 600.00?

Both shift most of their consoles through third party but also the overal library, all those little exclusives (and not so little, Gears as an example) do shift hardware. Fable 2 sold over 1m in the US in a couple of weeks, MGS$ pushed PS3 hardware sky high in the US that month, there is stuff we don't even know about that will sell millions.

There are a lot of factors that go into choosing a console, probably the biggest being where your friends are going and what you gamed on last gen, yes those can change (and likely will for a lot of people) but as long as something disasterous doesn't happen then there won't be a monumental shift. (before you say look at Wii to Wiiu and PS2 to PS3.)

Sorry but those little exclusives are probably meaningless since they move so little hardware. Gears and fable are mid sized titles so I don't see them as a very strong reason to get an X1 compared to halo.

Friends aren't the biggest reasons on choosing a console. It's obviously the games. I would go to say that the X1 was just as disasterous as the PS3 was.

Have you guys seen Titanfall?

What about it ?

So you haven't seen Titanfall?

How well do you think is it going to sell ?

Judging by the Earth's Atmosphere and Sun's Rays i would say about 6 to 7 million.

On the X1 specifically.

Halo sells on average 10m, COD 15m. What are the other 60m odd people buying?

I wish I could jump on this band wagon but 720 loving cod dude bros who also love television cannot seem to get enough of this system.

PS4 is the best game system but it lacks the games right now to end the competition.

Other games but that doesn't make Halo and COD not the most important of them. Like I said before, the X1 and the PS4 will share the same library for the most part but all it comes down to is the $100 price tag. I'm not knocking on the importance of smaller titles but rather it's just that bigger titles obviously have a much more greater importance.

Dude bro? PS4 has more shooters than Xbox One.

How else do you steal dude bros away except by offering more of what they love.

This has to be a record for doom threads today. Damn, this shit's getting old.

No, it's not doomed.

In keeping with the spirit of this image: "No, it's not domed"

Can we bring domed back. I still think it's the funniest typo ever committed on this site.
