Time to ban drones i think. These deadly weapons are in the hand of too few people. Life is too valuable.

And people wonder why America is so hated, especially in the middle east. The real terrorists are the American government, army, CIA, FBI and NSA.

Drones are pretty much just remote controlled airplanes with cameras and rockets attached to them.

It's not drones that need to be banned so much as just... violating countries soverignty 24-7 and shooting down anyone who looks like trouble.

You stop the actions and reasoning.  Not the tools.

Drones are still controlled by people though. But yeah i agree. There needs to be a strong international law that stops military tactics like drone strikes from just laying waste on these countries. It's wrong and it makes the situation worse. Groups like Al-Qaeda only become attractive if your house has become bombed or something. They are like the new communists (not in ideology), just taking advantages of the terrible environment to recruit.  Time for the US and everyone else to leave and stop getting involved in such countries they don't understand.

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030

For who? You? It' s not only your rights to be concerned about, it's others as well.  I have gay friends , married and great people. Both of them are very giving, happy and morally sound. They also have very successful careers.

Your religion is not the only one, and what if the gays have their own religion with their own god that includes marriage, not everything is christian and when it was we lost a 1000's years to the dark ages. This country was founded by Atheist, it's very clear your religion is not anymore important then someone else's.

Also this post goes against your original post. Not sure if you understanded it.

You missundertand :0

my true feeling on "legal marriage" is that it's a way to give rights to groups and treat ppl not as individuals.  there should be nothing contractual about marriage, nothing legal.  but if there must be, for some dumb reason, then it should apply to every individual not certain groups.

my original post was poking fun (inappropriately) at a government that blows up weddings and uses political/religious catch phrases like so.  The picture was to point out a gov has no authority permitting marriage to groups.  Hope you don't mind that i messed with ya a little.

My bad...

I don't get why this is a big deal. I mean I know its very sad, but there are drone strikes everyday in Pakistan where thousands of innocent civilians are killed every year. And unlike Yemen, Pakistan actually has the advanced radar systems that can detect drones and they can shoot them down but the governemnt there is too afraid to stand up to the US.

The real outrage is that we celebrate powerful people even as they commit supreme crimes against humanity. No doubt that the “drone meme” was an unwelcome disruption in partisans’ worship of their idols.

While Texts from Drone never reached the same kind of viral status that the fawning Texts from Hillary did, in its own way it was a success. It is at once a critique of Obama administration’s brutal drone campaign and a Tumblr equivalent of a bucket of cold water thrown at googly-eyed idol-worshippers of murderous politicians.

And they wonder where all the West-hating terrorists come from. They're the children, the brothers, the husbands of the innocent people killed in atrocities like this.

Man, I remember plenty of these news where they bombed a wedding in the last years. Why the fuck do they always confuse a wedding with some al-Qaeda meetings?
