I don't do anything aside from donating, don't really see why that would matter?

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.
Well, where's the problem? This was a crime under massmurderer George W Bush but
people should finally learn to appriciate that being killed by a black massmurdering Mr. noble piss prize is a privilige.
If they don't do so they may start to ask why the US Goverment is fighting Al Qaida in countries like Yemen or Pakistan(which already has atombombs, but iran isn't allowed) that are controlled US-Puppets while supporting at the same time the Al Qaida in Syria to remove Governments that don't bow dow to the USA.
War and torture and violation of fundamental human rights is so much easier when the wall street war mongerer is part of a minority

We aren't 'letting' them die. One thing people don't realize, is that aid isn't as simple as writing a check. I personally, ive to multiple charitable organizations, but they have to be carefully selected. If you give money to many of these 3rd world countries, they will spend it on weapons and luxuries for the ruling class. If you attempt to give food/basic supplies to people, warlords can roll in and steal it - sometimes killing people in the process. The fact is, many of these situations could not be fixed without rolling in the military and running the entire show - which is of course not an option.
So it means not feeding those people isn't murder. Obviously it's a terrible tragedy, but what can be done is limited, and it's not simply a problem that can be fixed.
In the company I worked for, everyone chipped in and hired a very good charity to build a well and water purification system in a village in Nicaragua that had no clean water. A great charity company, a great goal, and we achieved the funding we needed. But you put the same money into sending food to kids in africa, and no kids get fed, just some local guerillas have more resources.
So in a nutshell, our moral obligations are to do what we can, but we're not responsible if we cant' fix everything.

Is this meant to be serious? This has all the accuracy and grammar of a randomly generated email attempting to evade spam filters.
Not trying to troll or anything, but i did read an article while back that the men in Afirca have the women doing all the work which is one of the many reasons why the country is in such a poor state.
This is horrendous. I just can't help but feel this gut wrenching disgust at how many casualties of war there are in all these countries. Just put yourself in their shoes and think how one of the survivors may have felt and if this happened to you. One second they are at a wedding, celebrating one of the most joyous occasions of their lives, and the next second they find probably their entire family wiped it, or in whatever state they may be left in. And the worst part is, there is nothing they can do against the big powers that are responsible. Will anyone be held accountable for this, or will this also be forgotten as so many other cases of civilian murder by the big nations?
The state of this world truly saddens me.
