If sony sold 700k in europe, some in other places, and 2.1 million worldwide that leaves about 1.2 million in US like VGChartz says.

That would mean the Xbox One is at about 700k in the US

How is that possible  if the Xbox One sold over 1 million worldwide first week and beating PS4 during black friday? Who is wrong here I want answers. BTW my 'zombie killer' achievment in dead rising 3 isn't unlocking anyone have any suggestions?

A) patcher probably isn't right.

B) i bolded all the facts that we don't actully know to be true.

C) in each instance you said US you quoted numbers that were for N. America.  Canada, it's the one north of america.

Actually we know, the PS4 sold 700k in EU and the other countries since Sony said it, Sony also announced that the console sold 2.1M so far (by the end of the month, so it's not possible for the EU number to change), you just need to do the calculation.

The numbers aren't up to date. The PS4 sold 2.1 million as of december 1st I believe. On top of that, you answered your own question. The PS4 sold 1 million in 2 territories in it's launch, and the xbox one sold a little more in 13 territories. 

We don't know anything, essentially.

Xbox One sold more than 1m in less than 24 hours. However.

It may have just pipped 1m WW, meaning a 700k/300k breakdown WW, 650k going to US. Black Friday may have had very limited stock, we still don't have any figures so we don't know.

On the flip side, maybe Xbox One sold well over 1m in its first day when all was said and done, something like 1.3m. a 900k/400k split WW, with 800k in US. Maybe it had decent enough stock on Black Friday, 300 - 500k.

Or, maybe it's somewhere between the two. You'll find out Thursday but until then, nobody has a clue, not pachter, not VGC, not GAF and not you or I.

like he said who really knows. I am not sure if they have stock to sell more as I checked my local electronic super stores and both xbox one and ps4 are out of stock and they don't know when they will get more. So for this holiday season who ever can churn out more stock will be able to sell them. After that though Sony will most likely sell more due to the $100 cheaper price - unless Opra or Ellen decides to tell all the soccer moms to buy a Xbox One for excercise.
