I just got the impression that he had more internal info than the public release. In the past hes made statements like these before release too and iirc theyve always been pretty close.to npd.
I would think it would be a mistake as a high paid analyst to disclose bad info only two days out from npd.

Well it's already been spelt out, he gets the same data as subscribers at the same time. His predictions are always that, just predictions. He's mentioned how he talks to MS and Sony (and sometimes Nintendo) before to gauge how well they've done.

He's already said on the latest bonus round, it doesn't matter to his investors if he's wrong, they're not paying him for NPD predictions, they pay him to ask what he thinks companies might do.

Hold your horses gentlemen, this is based on the first 24 hours and merely a prediction....
