60fps?

It would be sad if a last gen game couldn't run 1080p on current gen.

Good, now hoping for TressFX and other goodies. Don't care if it runs at 60fps, 30fps stably v-synced with good AA would do the game more justice.

Will she have her beautiful flowing hair tho? since that was what SE seemed to put all the time into and then were shocked it didn't reach their sales expectations as the 2013 Hair simulator of the year...

Well the hair is pretty cool, though at times it can seem like a bad boob animation.

They need to further work on hair physics, there is no way that hair moves around that much in a lot of those scenerios.  Also kind of funny how she gets all dirty, bloody, beat up ect and her hair stays silky smooth and flowing perfectly the entire game.

No, they don't. While slightly impressive looking they needed to create a proper game and then worry about the actual hair bouncing on her head, far too much time wasted on that during development and not enough filling out the campaign or making it a proper survival game bar killing one animal to begin with.

This reboot truely proved imo that gameplay>graphics by a mile, would have happily had something that looked like fallout 3 with laura croft but instead got a 4 hour long Hair advert with some shooting and stealth tacked on.

Didn't mean that I wanted them to work on it or waste resources, just meant to say that they didnt' succeed in hair physics.  It still has work to be done.

I prefer playing with what they did do on, it looks much better, but its not perfect and at times can make you lose imersion from it reacting funny compared to how you expect hair to work.

you mean Laura looking like she just stook her fingers in a plug socket and the hair just can't stop twitching about with electricity? :D I just found it silly to focus on at all... should point out my favourite games are prolly wow and tetris so that'll tell you the kinda graphics I go for in games :)

The PC version of the game maxed out looks better than anything on the ps4/xbone short of ryse and killzone. So if the game is equivalent to max settings on PC at 1080p that's pretty impressive or just shows how incompetent capcom, Dice, and Infinity Ward were with their launch games.

Isn't it sad that something like this has to be considered newsworthy in the new generation of consoles?
